Elena Douglas

Early Years Practitioner

I am passionate about teaching early years through a therapeutic forest school model. My forest school spark was set alight when I saw pupils’ self-esteem, risk-taking and speech and language skills come alive when building on their own exploration in nature. I believe that children deserve meaningful early experiences rooted in secure relationships, rich experiences and the freedom to discover. I love to wild swim, trail run, hike, trail bike, sail, boulder and ski. When not outside, I enjoy cooking, drinking cups of tea and having a good boogie!
