Hi I’m Caroline and I have been working therapeutically with children and families for many years. I am a social worker and have worked mainly in the voluntary sector supporting families in the north east. A qualified person centred counsellor, I have worked with Looked After Children and those who have struggled to manage their feelings. Alongside this I have always needed the sanity and release of being outdoors, and have increasingly seen the benefit both for myself and those I work with.
I have been involved with Stomping Grounds since 2024 when I joined as a volunteer and then completed my Level 3 in Forest School Leadership. This work now is my main focus as I can see and feel children and young people relax and become their true selves in the woods.
Working here is a joy and a pleasure, whatever the weather!
