Kimberley Golby

Lead Administrator

Kim finds spending time outdoors both calming and grounding. She enjoys the sensory experience that nature brings — listening, touching, exploring and embracing creativity, playfulness and adventure. Some of her favourite outdoor activities include wild camping and hiking the Wainwrights with her partner and dad. She loves both land and sea, and enjoys paddleboarding, sea swimming and cold-water therapy. Scotland holds a special place for her, with the NC500 remaining one of her favourite trips and a reminder of the freedom and curiosity that time outdoors can inspire.

With eight years of experience as a PE teacher in Gateshead, Kim has worked extensively with young people and teams, leading initiatives such as Duke of Edinburgh and outdoor education programmes. Alongside her work in education, she also works part-time for the fire service. At Stomping Grounds, Kim brings strong organisational skills, a passion for problem solving, and a focus on creating supportive systems that help both staff and children thrive. She is motivated by creating environments where people feel supported, capable and able to do their best work
