Gateshead Riverside Project
We offer a variety of sessions for the whole community, including adult well-being sessions, family sessions for children to attend with their parents and carers, wellness and home education groups for young people, and holiday clubs. Some of these are offered on a pay-as-you-feel basis, and are subsidised by our generous funders and donors.

Our beautiful site at Gateshead Riverside park has been developed in partnership with Gateshead Council as part of the Tyne Derwent Way project.
Following a pilot project in 2022 (you can read the evaluation here ), we continue to deliver and develop our provision in this beautiful space, where forest meets city.
We host a variety of activity at this site, from alternative provision and wellness, to family sessions and holiday clubs, to staff training and workshops with the local community.

FAQs
The sessions are open to anyone to attend, we want to share the beauty of this space with everyone! We love working with the local community too, and want to support as many local families as possible to take part in this project.
As a charity, we want to ensure everyone can access the benefits of connecting with nature. We offer free spaces with the option to make a donation if you can. There are options for everyone, regardless of your financial situation.
