Northumberland: Haltwhistle Riverside Park
We offer forest school for families with children under 7 year olds during term time and funded holiday club sessions during selected school holidays.
About this Location
Our site was originally the old train station yard (with some railway paraphernalia hidden in the undergrowth), which has since become a small but wonderful haven for local wildlife, consisting mostly of Silver Birch, Buddleia and Sycamore. At the bottom of our site, the South Tyne river flows by and along the top we have a fire circle with log seating. This site is open to the public and used daily by local residents.
Family friendly
Accessible on foot, with pushchair and wheelchair
Central to Haltwhistle and accessible via public transport
