Jessica Lloyd
Lead Practitioner
Jess has been part of Stomping Grounds since very nearly the beginning! From bringing her own children along, to supporting at sessions, and as a non-executive director from 2017 – 2022. Jess has a background in environmental education and is a qualified teacher. She is passionate about children being given the time and space outdoors to connect with nature, themselves, and others.
As a Level 3 Forest School leader, Jess is often found playing in the woods on Wellness days, where her favourite activities are creating aqueducts with pipes in the stream or lying on the forest floor looking up at the trees. Jess also works as an education officer for the Royal Forestry Society and Scotswood Garden.
In her spare time, Jess enjoys going on adventures with her two children, swimming in (often very cold) lakes, hiking up mountains, cycling, and attempting to grow vegetables at her allotment.
