Kate Dix
Alternative Provision Manager
Kate has always had an interest in the natural world and after studying Zoology at University, spent time overseas to experience wildlife in their natural habitat. On returning to the UK, Kate worked for a Management Consultancy before opting to change career to pursue an increase in personal fulfillment. Kate subsequently re-trained as a Midwife and found the application of the biological understanding of pregnancy and childbirth deeply reassuring and rewarding when supporting women and their families.
After the arrival of her own children and a period as a stay at home parent following the realisation that square pegs don’t fit into round holes, Kate discovered Stomping Grounds. Kate is thrilled to be able to play a part in an organisation that enables young people to be their authentic selves and advocate for their needs, whilst also enabling and supporting those around them, as our lived experience means we “get it”.
