About these sessions

Many schools are starting to include Forest School in their offer. Parents love it, Ofsted love it, and most importantly the children and young people benefit enormously from it.

Here at Stomping Grounds we are one of the only Forest School Association registered providers in the North East, with Ofsted registration and Approved Therapeutic Practitioner status.

We can offer weekly forest school sessions for your pupils, delivered by our fully trained Lead Practitioners.

If you don’t currently have a Forest School area in school, we also provide a set up and risk assessment service.

Our sessions are bespoke to your needs and can accommodate full classes or smaller SEN or nurture groups; take place on your school grounds, in local woodlands or at one of our sites across the North East; and can be fully delivered by Stomping Grounds staff or co-delivered between us and school staff.

We charge:

  • £145 for 1 member of SG staff for half a day  (school must send their own staff to ensure we are within ratio of at least 1:10)
  • £242 for 1 member of SG staff for a full day (school must send their own staff to ensure we are within ratio of at least 1:10)
  • £242 for 2 members of SG staff for half a day
  • £363 for 2 members of SG staff for a full day

“Again, a huge thank you to both of you for everything you have done with our pupils this academic year – all pupils have developed hugely from their experiences at Stomping Grounds – with one student saying it was his ‘Paradise’ as I collected the group on Friday.
